No sound from computer (Windows 11)

Windows sometimes attempts to use a Dell monitor as an audio output device, even if the monitor does not have speakers. This results in no sound from the computer. To switch back to the correct audio output:

Either click the speaker icon, then the button next to the volume slider, or press the Windows Key + Ctrl + V keys:
