Taskbar & Start Button Position
In Windows 11 the default position of the Start button and taskbar buttons is in the center of the screen:
If you would prefer to use the traditional layout with the start button at the left, follow these instructions:
- Right-click a blank area on the taskbar, then click Taskbar settings
- Expand the Taskbar behaviors section (you may need to scroll down to find it)
- Change the Taskbar alignment setting from Center to Left
